Scope

Cool little scope, I actually use it for out walking and not finding golf ball distances it's very handy, easy to use and works great. Rechargeable as well.

Pin sharp, pocket-friendly, and actually fun to use

I picked this up mostly for golf (and the odd cheeky bit of disc golf), and it’s been a cracking little gadget. The CIGMAN rangefinder locks onto flags quickly, even with my not-so-steady hands, and the slope compensation really helps when you're second-guessing club choice on the uphill par 3s.

It’s got an impressive range (way more than I’ll ever need on a course), and accuracy seems bang-on – I’ve tested it against course markers and it's never off by more than a yard. The flag lock vibrates when it catches the target, which is a nice touch so you’re not guessing if it’s locked on a tree behind the green.

Battery-wise, I’ve only had to charge it once so far – the 750mAh battery lasts ages, and it’s Type-C, so no hunting for some old micro USB lead. Lightweight enough to chuck in the bag without noticing, and it’s been handy off the course too – took it hiking last weekend and it added a bit of fun to spotting distances.

Pros:

Accurate within a yard – perfect for club selection

Slope compensation helps massively on uneven terrain

Flag lock with vibration is surprisingly useful

Long battery life and fast Type-C charging

Lightweight and multi-use – great for golf, disc golf, and hiking

Cons:

Carry case is basic – could use a sturdier one for rough use

Needs a steady hand at longer distances (normal for rangefinders really)

If you're after a reliable, feature-packed rangefinder without spending silly money, this one ticks all the boxes. Works a treat on the course, and doubles up nicely for outdoor adventures too – just don’t be surprised if your mates keep asking to borrow it.

Reliable precision, thoughtful design, excellent value

The Cigman CT-3000 rangefinder is a compact, robust, and feature-packed device. It's easy to hold, fitting nicely in your hand, has dioptre adjustment on the viewfinder, charges via USB-C, and comes in a tough, well-designed case with multiple carry and attachment options for your belt or golf bag. The case is well-designed, using internal straps to stop it from opening fully, helping to prevent accidental drops.

I tested its accuracy using an object I knew was just over 230 metres away, and the Cigman reported 231m, pretty-much spot on. It was equally accurate with closer targets. On the golf course, especially for drives or fairway shots, this level of accuracy (within a few metres) is more than enough to help you choose the right club and hone your natural distance-measuring skills.

The slope feature automatically displays the angle above or below horizontal, and you can enable compensation for slope-adjusted distance, which can come in handy for pitch-and-run shots. It also offers measurements for vertical and horizontal intervals, and even speed, if you need it.

Overall, I'm very impressed with the Cigman rangefinder. Compared with others reviewed on golfing websites, and factoring in the £60 Amazon voucher, and a three-year warranty, it offers pretty compelling value at £110.

Lightweight, portable and very easy to use.

I really like the quality of it. Feels well made and it's lightweight. There is a protective case included which is great if you keep it in your golf bag.

The range finder is very easy to use. The lens focus can be easily adjusted and the device fits nicely in my hands.

It's rechargeable, which is great and much better compared with the classic battery operated range finders. The battery life is very good so far and it recharged very quickly.

I own a couple of range finders and this is the best one I've had so far. Great grip, easy focus adjust and rechargeable. It does have a few different modes such as 6x magnification, scan mode, slope compensation, speed and hunting mode.

The only comment here is the price. It's slightly pricey for what you get in general but it's a very good range finder.

Son is pretty happy with this

I got this for my son who loves to hunt. I don't know anything about hunting or range finders, but he says this is a really good one. Clear view, can see quite a distance with it, and he likes the hard case that came with it for storage. It's simple to use and fits perfectly in your hand. Comes with the range finder and case, battery charger, a lanyard and carabiner, user manual and cleaning cloth. It is pretty expensive, but at least there's currently a coupon available to lessen the blow of the price. Four star ONLY because of the high price tag.
